What's it worth it to you when you are feeling pain all over, whether from a physical injury that can be identified or from the overall stress to your being?

What's it worth to be treated by a well-trained, well-educated, mature massage therapist who is experienced in the elements of life that stress our being, and the challenge of recovering from injury, illness or surgery?

When you can spend 50 to 120 minutes in a professional's care and walk out feeling 2 - 10 times better than you walked in, what kind of price do you put on that?

Though it's a completely different profession, with a vastly deeper and greater scope of practice, many times when we are in pain, a visit to the doctor doesn't relieve the pain. It helps us know what the problem is. It can get us a prescription to reduce pain, or a recommendation to see a specialist, but usually we do not feel any better physcially when we walk out.

So there's a reason to have a massage therapist that you trust and can count on. Most of the time my clients will walk away feeling much better than when they arrived.

What's best is when you are seeing the medical doctor or chiropractor to diagnose what is happening with you, and then you come, informed by their expertise, and get some time with healing hands to restore your sense of wellbeing .

A good massage therapist resets your being to a base-line of relaxation and ease. For some people all the pain will be gone, disappeared. For others maybe the pain will need more care before it quiets down, or maybe the pain can't be resolved, but still the relaxation will help overall.
