At Apex Massage for Women the focus is providing a setting for you to come home to yourself, to the sensations of your being.

In today's hurried world, where there is so much outside of ourselves calling our attention, where the economic challenges demand that we ignore what we feel and do whatever it takes to get the job done, we need special places that call us back into the sensations of our being.

At Apex Massage for Women we have candle light to quiet the eyes, music that calls us back to the steady rhythm of our breath, scents to invite us to breathe whole heartedly, a comfortable table to allow you to settle in and leave the world behind.

When you make your appointment we will ask how you are doing and what you would like for your appointment.

We offer appointments starting at 50 minutes up to 120 minutes (2 hours), at $1 a minute, a standard massage rate. The duration is the time you will spend on the table, more time than is usually offered for massage appointments.

Occasionally we offer specials. With rates that are lower than many massage practices, you are getting a good value at regular rates. Whatever the appointment period is, let's say an hour, that's the amount of table time you'll have. And when you come for your first appointment, there is always at least 15 minutes to review your health history, and that is not charged for separately. So you're getting good value!

Usually clients leave feeling great - unbelievably relaxed, almost a feeling of being inebriated, with no pain, or minimal pain. Certifications - Anora McGaha is Licensed by the state of North Carolina as a massage therapist. She is also certified to offer a three series of structural bodywork by KMI. Additionally Anora has studied trauma relief and has received hundreds of hours of different bodywork therapies, which have greatly deepened her skill and ability to ease pain and offer a deep experience of relaxation.

Other certifications that local therapists may have include medical massage, as taught by Ralph Stephens, pregnancy massage or reflexology as taught by Claire Miller; sports massage as taught by George Kousaleos; St. Johns Neuromuscular Therapy; Trigger Point Therapy; or Craniosacral Therapy to name the most common ones. Anora is not certified in these methods.
